Mexico flag

The Mexican struggle for independence from Spain last nearly 11 years, from 1810 to 1821, during which time many different flags were hoisted from Mexican flag poles.

The Aztec emblem of Mexico first was displayed on a flag back in 1812, with the blue and white colors associated with Montezuma.

Some three years later a tricolor was introduced, displaying the colors white, blue and red. The current tricolor flag was not displayed first till 1821, and was in fact used as the declaration of independence.

The Mexican flag is available in different sizes.
